There are three types of support budgets that may appear in your NDIS plan: core, capacity building and capital supports. Your NDIS planner will tailor your NDIS plan with support budget categories and funding connected to achieving your goals and supporting you in your day-to-day life.
Core Supports
The money for your daily assistance with tasks related to your plan and life goals comes from the core supports budget. Your regular expenses for caregiving, support staff, cleaning, and other costs will be covered out of your core financing. You can opt to divide your cash equally across the four support budget categories because the core budget is frequently changeable. For instance, you could choose to allocate a larger portion of your overall core financing to sanitary items rather than transportation costs. Under “core support,” there are four budget support categories:
01 : Assistance with daily life

04: Assistance with Social, Economic and Community participation

- assistance with finding a communal, social, or recreational activity to participate in

- assistance to help you attend a social event, vacation, camp, class, or activity that relates to a particular passion or hobby, like an art, music, or theatre class.

Capital Supports

Capacity Building Supports

07: Support Coordination
From this fund, a support coordinator may be claimed. Your strategy will be put into action and your supports will be organized by support coordinators. They can help you connect with the community and larger support networks, establish and design support alternatives to help you work toward your objectives, and collaborate with you to be ready for review and report on your accomplishments.
08: Improved Living Arrangements

It may also pay for someone to help you look at houses or negotiate a lease. 09: Increased Social and Community Participation

11: Improved Relationships

12: Improved Health and Well Being

13: Improved Learning
